Wife has put her foot down; she has to have AC, or no more shredding the pasture. Breaks my heart to trade our TC33DA HST. After a little online looking, I figured the Boomer 3050 with CVT was what I wanted, factoring in the hp draw of AC, and wanting to move to 6' tools, rotary cutter, bb, etc. After visiting local dealership, (NH and Kubota), manager informed me that some have experienced "bugs" in the CVT electrics, and NH is now moving the plant to Mexico and revamping their CVTs for those models. He felt that I would be better served with a Kubota L4740 HST... cab of course, (grumble, grumble).
Decided I'd come here and talk to the experts. I have NO problems with Kubota, just had such good luck with my last two blue tractors, and have always been pretty much brand loyal.
Would appreciate any and all input, thanks in advance.
Tractor will be mostly used for cutting approx. 10 ac, flat ground in so Lousy-ana, and will have an fel, and 1 rr; other tools at present are box blade & plow, carryall with small spray rig.
Dealer I am speaking of is less than 10 mi.; John Deere is about 2mi. further, but have never been able to get on the same page with those guys- (if you have to ask how much, you can't afford it).
