Wow. Great job. That disk brings back memories of untold thousands of acres that I covered with one like it. Can you still get gang bearings for it? Thats one of the reasons we got rid of ours was those expensive bearings.

Thanks. I'm not sure about the bearings although I've found you can find pretty much any bearing on the internet with the numbers on each bearing part. I bought it from a hunt club (too big for them) and they had just redone everything but the paint. I have great memories of one of these when I was a kid, and I'm looking forward to fixing up a couple of my rougher no-till fields with my little ones in a few weeks.

A decade ago I got bearing for mine from JD, and also from Shoup. Shoup was much cheaper. I don't see them listed in their catalog any more, but Shoup often has things that aren't in the catalog....

I hear you can no longer get the cast bearing holders, if one busts on you.
