Was doing some flail mowing today and the tractor acted like it bogged down and almost shut off, thought I may have the mower too low so raised it a little and the tractor caught back up. Started back to mowing and about 20 minutes later it bogged down again and completely shut off. It almost acted like it run out of fuel but was showing 1/4 tank. Just had the fuel sending unit replaced last year by the Deere shop so I thought maybe the sending unit went bad, added 3 gallons and it read 3/4 tank. I checked to see if it did loose prime due to running out of fuel at the fuel filter primer mechanism but it had good pressure. The engine will turn over but just won’t fire off. Not sure where to get started on how to pull codes on it if there are any that could possibly be keeping it from starting? Thinking about checking fuses. Don’t have an owners or service manual for it so really just looking for some guidance on where to get started with troubleshooting it???
The tractor is currently stranded on the backside of my property so any ideas or recommendations would appreciated before I have to call for a road service technician.
