2800 is a lot of hours. I wouldn't be surprised if it were a typo and actually 1800 hours. I'd be interested at 1800, 2800 would be way to much for me as well. For that many hours it does look surprisingly well taken care of, though.

Nope, not a typo. I spoke with the owner the other day. Apparently alot of backhoe hrs. There's a used hood on ebay for $100. I thinks it's a sign to just buy the local unit. LOL:laughing:

I like the second one, the 2005. Only thing that's questionable is the 3 rear. Otherwise I thought it was a good deal and looks like a private owner. It popped up right after I bought mine. The first one doesn't sound bad either. The others don't seem like they have all the hydros.

The second one is the one with the cracks I looked at yesterday. The first one sounds decent. I'll email the seller. DJD is a dealer, there usually stick with cat repo's.

South of Rochester, NY:

John Deere 110 tlb backhoe

I didn't pay close attention the last time I drove by, but Falls Farm and Garden (Deere Dealer in Hudson Falls, NY) had 2 110 TLB's late last fall. They have a lot of equipment right now, and don't list any of it online. Might be worth a call.

Best of luck in your search!

Just out of curiosity, have you decided to wait a while or are you sticking with the 3320 for now?

I've been using the 3320 since I had some work I needed to do with it. I'm still keeping my eye's peeled for a 110 but I really can't part with the 3320 at this point. I've got so many projects. I'm planning on putting a few ads up to test the waters.

I can certainly understand that train of thought. This year looks more promising than the prior year, last year I was looking for jobs but this year I am trying to figure out how to do them all. If you get enough jobs you might consider having both, a 3320 and a 110 would make alot of sense imo.

Sounds like you have a buyer Matt;)

I do understand the situation, though. When I bought I had my neighbor (who I sold the 3120 too) and a couple of coworkers that were interested, so I felt fairly certain I could get it gone, and did.

Good luck!

If I had someone close interested it would really help. Since finding the right 110 will mostlikely require shipping and waiting. I may try to hold off on selling it until later in the year. If I could find a dealer interested in a trade that would also really help. I think my pricing is right on with the other ads on CL. For the hrs and attachments I don't think an edjucated buyer would think twice.

But I seem to attract CL's finest and that really sours the whole process.
I've also been kicking around the idea of buying a 3 ton mini ex(Deere 35D cab) once I sell the 3320 and then picking up a 110 later in the year. Then the hoe buckets will be interchangeble.

To add insult to injury I'm in the process of changing employers so trying to juggle too many things at the moment. Really hard to stay focused day to day.:confused2:

If it's of any help, my neighbor sold his NH T1110 in a little over a week on CL, actually sold it today. It is a base SCUT, no options at all. Not really sure why he bought it as it is overall, well I don't want to say bad, but definitely not my type of tractors and were definitely other, better options. I would imagine you could have the same experience. Neighbor even took it up to a local hardware store on a busy road and for $50 he could park it out there for a month.

Is there any way you could get a 110 before you sold the 3320? I wanted to get rid of the 3120 first as well, but when the time came I wasn't going to hold my pants in a wad when I found the right one.

You may want to put an ad on Tractor House as well. You get one free listing and that way people will be able to see it from all over the country.

And as AKfish told me when I was a 110 novice, the 110 can dig just like a mini ex, just without as much breakout force, not as much hydraulic capacity for implements and a little slower. I wouldn't see the need for a 110 and a mini ex, but do see the want:licking:

You sold it already? For how much?

Since I'm not financing anything I really need the money from the 3320 to buy the 110. The area's I need to use an ex for are not do-able with a tractor. Mostly embankment stuff where a turntable is the only way to fly. When the economy was better I had a nice little brush hogging deal. And I'd like to get back into that it was good side money and I had insurance so the risk wasn't too bad. The mini could run a flail head so I'd be pretty verstile between a 72" hog for the 110 and the mini.

I really like to clean up stuff when I sell it but I've been using the 3320 everyday after work. We've been having some super early summer temps here so trying to take advantage of that. If I can get the majority of my stuff done by late April I'll put the 3320 up for sale then. It should still be a good time to buy at that point.

I've decided not to compromise on what I want in a 110 so I maybe tractorless for some time. I'm also considering dealer consignment since the buy would be able to get deere financing and my dealer knows my machine's maitenance history.

She is gone. I definitely could have gotten more selling elsewhere, but we lend things back and forth so I gave it to him for 12. If I need it again I can borrow it an I figured after the hackling it wouldn't be too far off. My 3120 isn't near as nice as Matt's 3320 though... I needed the upgrade a lot more than he does.

Makes more sense now. I'm glad I was talked into the no-compromises by Jenkinsph and AKfish. I know I'm happier with the bells and whistles.

I think the consignments a great idea as well - I'd never been able to find or would have bought my 110 without it being consigned.

I have a 110 with every option except the thumb and 4in1. I just priced the thumb and my local dealer wants $1800 for it. It I were to do it again I would buy a tracked SS and a mini-ex even though it would have been twice the money. The 110 is a great tractor and does everything I need, but having a SS and mini-ex would really shine at times. I bought mine about 3 years ago, it is a 2004 and only had 212 hours on it. Home owner owned and in great shape. I looked for a few months before finding it, so they are out there! If only my wife saw things in the same light I do I would tell you to come and look at mine; just up the road ;)

I hear you, but I demo'd a ASV machine with brush hog a few years back and still prefer the tractor for field mowing. The tractor is a swiss army knife for me and skid attachments are usually alot more spendy. Plus two engine's to maintain and I'll be hauling the tractor to the land I own out of state so I couldn't haul a mini and skid at the same time. But I know both are better at there tasks than a 110 will be.

Thats why I bought a 110, looked really hard at a 902 loader and a 303 and 304 Cat mini excavator, very nice pair of machines. Also considered the Terex 760B backhoe which was slightly cheaper than the 110. The big deal was the smaller 110 was the swiss army knife that was the easiest to move in one trip. In seven years of use I have only had to call in a larger BH two times, makes me think the 110 was a good choice.

I believe Keil Equipment in NY has a 110 for sale with all the hyd options.I think they are in Hudson,NY,I went there a month or so ago to look at a used Harley rake.I took a quick peek at the 110 and it was clean and had fairly low hrs.
