Tractor
Mahindra 5035HST w/loader, J.D.855 w/loader, McCormick CT28H w/FEL
The little old John Deere came out to see what the commotion was all about, only to be chased back under it's own shed by the new Mahindra (see pics)

Took it out for some practice. First condenced a few small piles of limbs into one larger pile to figure out the grapple controls. Then it was out into the muddy pasture where I removed (crushed, broke apart) some very large branches leaning hard on a wood fence. Not the best tires for mud, but a little better than turf tires. Tried picking up a large section of log and it handled it easily. Lastly, used the box blade to smooth out a spot under the hay shed where it will rest. That thing works great. Might take me a little time to really get used to it, but this tractor (5035 HST) should do everything I need it to. Rob

Yes, 50 horses. It doesn't seem to eat as much as my small herd of Paint horses. Plus, it is much better at moving stuff around. ;)

... nice ... REAL NICE.. !!!!!!! :) I made a 1 ton concrete weight for my 3pt. when I have my hoe off. Gives it lots of traction unless you have the loader really working hard. Don't know if it would help you in the mud, though....

It's not nice to pick on green tractors, you should be ashamed of your mahindra, chasing deere's around will make congress make a new law, for cruelty to greene tractors

I should add... did you keep the frightened John Deere or did the new Mahindra frighten him back to the dealership for a new owner?

Oh, the little old J.D. isn't going anywhere. But now it is semi-retired and will see only light barn duty. It has more than earned it, no question about that.
Have a sneaking suspicion part of the first day of 2012 will see some limb crushing and piling here on the ol' farm.

I'm not sure where you are but here in Michigan it's pretty odd to not be handling some snow on 1/1/xxxx. It's a good change

Congratulations on the purchase of your new 5035. One of the BEST things that you can do for yourself now is to read the owners manual front to back, not once but twice.

Good luck and take it slow at first to get familiar with the new machine. ;)

My buddy that has the Bota dealer ship in FT.Myers Fla recently took on Mahindra's .
So I took a ride over to see some new stock. He had a 4035/5035 by side of road w/fel lifted up high in air to get attention from passing motorists. Well I noticed under fel was like a tube welded under neath. I did get to talk to him when I left(he graciosly) gives me free-roam of dealership property.
Well I thought that tube thing under fel bucket was to attach some kind of post pounder(Mahindra innovention).
Got to talking to it about it with a veteran Mahindra TBN member, turns out its for some type of bracket for your fel when you take it off.

Be interesting to see if the new one will reach the age of the old one....
