How do I stop TBN post emails ??

Could someone please tell me how to stop the emails advising me of posts on TBN.

Not very good at that sort of thing..

Click on My Home in the upper menu of this page:

Then click on Edit Options. Then scroll down to the messaging and notifications section of the page, and check or uncheck the boxes as you choose.

Uncheck them all if you want. or read the description beside each one and decide. for instance if you dont want to recieve personal messages from other members then uncheck the box about the personal messing system. I don't know you would want to do that but you can if you want. The forum can send a message to your email address to inform you when someone sends you a private message.?

Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages Or maybe you just dont want an email in your email box when you recieve a personal message?

In the box it says do not subscribe which I assumed would mean that I did not subscribe to the receipt of emails.

Default Thread Subscription Mode: ***Have it say "No e-mail Notification!!!"

That works for me...

Well is this not what you see?

Receive Email From time to time, the administrators may want to send you email notices.

If you do not want to receive these notices, disable this option. Receive Email from Administrators
You can allow other members to send you email messages. Receive Email from Other Members Default Thread Subscription Mode When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread. Default Thread Subscription Mode: Private Messaging This forum features a private messaging system, which allows members to send messages to one another privately.

If you do not want to send or receive private messages, you may disable the private messaging system. Enable Private Messaging
You may limit the receipt of private messages to just moderators and your contacts. Other members who attempt to send messages to you will be told that you have disabled private messaging. Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators
The forum can send a message to your email address to inform you when someone sends you a private message. Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages

and have it say No e-mail Notification!!!

I THINK that was the way I had it set, then I changed to "No Subscription", that didn't help, so now I am back to "no email notification" and I "Saved Changes". We'll see how that works out. "To be drug out....." (Pogo Possum, ca. 1965).

At the risk of being redundant here goes:

Go to My Home

In the left most window find and click on Edit Options

Find the blue bar Messaging and Notifications

Under "Receive Email"

I would think you want to receive messages from Administrators so check that box.
Remove the check from Receive email from other members if you don't want to receive email from other members.

Check the Default Thread Subscription. Change to "Do not subscribe" or "No email notification"

Under "Private Messaging"

Enable Private Messaging - your choice to receive or not to receive. As far as I can tell this is the private messaging system on TBN.
Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators - your choice
Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages - Make sure it is not checked.
Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up - your choice

Be sure you "Save"

If all this fails then try removing your email address from your profile.

I asked this thread to be moved to News/Feedback since there might be a problem with the website... they'll let you know if it's instant (stop e-mails) or if it will take a day or so... I don't know how to help you more...
