Remove the dipstick from the tube. Check the end of the dipstick to see what the fluid level is. With the tractor engine off, the hydraulic fluid should register at the "Cold fill" line. If the fluid isn't at that level, you need to add more

What is the "cold fill " line ?

Assuming you are talking about the transmission fluid level the fluid level is OK as long as it registers between the two ridges on the dipstick. Per my B7800 owners manual.
