The funiest esposide of "Everybody loves Raymond" was when Ray and his mother went on a cruise together. Cruise director assumed they were a couple.

mark

NA.. the funniest scene was when they were painting Rays house and Robert sprayed Marie in the face..and Frank walk by and says "Thats gonna need another coat"

I roll over laughing everytime i see that one

... They are called Trans ( something ) Scop.

Have been on one cruise, with wife and two teenage daughters, and enjoyed it very much.

RSKY

Transderm Scop is the brand name. It is a scopolamine patch applied 4 hours before needed and replaced every 3 days. Can be effective when applied 2-3 hours before, but works best when applied 12 hours before.

Prescription only though, not over the counter.

Eddie, Let me know if you can't go I'll see if my wife will let me go with your friend. That way Oscar wouldn't have such trama in his life, you'd save money and sure wouldn't get married again.

Of all the Carnival Cruises ports of call, Jamaica was my least favorite. But you could always stay on board that day and save your shore excursions for the other islands. But if you go ashore make sure, in Jamaica, to be on a Carnival Cruise excursion, hopefully you will get an undercover armed security guard. The coffee plantation excursion was interesting. They get most of their income from cruise tours now, "no one wants to ruin their nails picking beans" (quote from the owner).

First cruise - do it!!!!

How did getting married enter this thread, did I miss something?

Txdon, we did go there, but booked the River raft ride, they drove us a hour into the mountains at 80km an hour.. In the middle of no wheres-ville. we crossed a decreped steel trestle bridge in bus I would not trust to a one-ton truck. It was beautiful scenery, the water was dingy, but we floated an hour down this slow river on a homemade bamboo raft with a native pushing a pole.,.Some of the flowers including Orchids were fantastic, the bamboo was huge, and their red beer cheap. But being there I was very uneasy as Poverty was very prevelant and everyone wanted money? I did not venture away to explore there?

My wife and I just went on a cruise (Carnival) this past July. We have been on a few and know how expensive it can be to drink. We purcahsed a couple dozen small liquor bottles at the local liquor store and wrapped them in our clothes within our suitcase. JUST AN IDEA IF YOU DRINK. Saved a couple hundred dollars.

55 posts so far and we haven't heard back from Eddie. You didn't leave to cruise yet, did you Eddie?

He's probably in the paddle boat out on his lake practicing and getting ready.

Don't they make a perfect pair? Looks just like an Ozark hog? This your pet or just was drug-up?

My dog, Whipper, just baby sited a day till the little feral pig decided he had enough and left saying wee wee wee all the way home.
It was really funny watching the baby pig chase the dog around, then try to run away only to be picked up and brought back into the yard.

We have been on 6 cruises - (4 Carnival and 2 Princess) and loved it them all.. A lot of ppl say Carnival is 'lower class' than the others - but I really havent noticed it.. Excellent food and service on every cruise.. After our first cruise we have been upgrading to balcony rooms when the cost is not outrageous..

We typically take at least 1 cruise a year, we have found it to be a very budget friendly and a good value when taking vacations

IF you like to drink look into Platypus containers - We have used them for the past few cruises and were able to get our alcohol (wine and bourbon) on board with no issues..

In order to not get seasick I'd have to have a cabin in the very center of the ship; center side-to-side, front-to-back, and top-to-bottom

Eddie, if you sit at a round table for dinner and the ship is in rough waters, make sure you sit on the side of the table that you are rocking back and forth instead of sideways so you won't get seasick.
