Snow Blade bucket mounted snowplow

Have you thought of a hand held 7" grinder. I think mine could cut a pipe like that. Might be a few sparks though!

The pipe idea (both plastic and iron) has been discussed on here a few times. I cut a metal pipe on the table saw with a metal cutting blade and it turned out well. I also have used ABS plastic on a back blade with good results. For the metal pipe I drilled and tapped bolt holes to fasten it on and make it removable.

I have heard of the slit pipe idea, what I was wondering how to cleanly slit it the length of the plow. I could see sending a plastic pipe through a table saw, but the steel? Maybe it could be done with a torch.

Just get a metal cutting wheel for your saw. Table or circular, works great.

How about buying a Q/A plate and mounting the plow blade to that?

That's exactly what I'm going to do with my SnowBear blade. The QA plate is in route, when the SnowBear universal adapter arrives I'll put up some photos of the project
