It's perfect for what I do. It seems to have plenty of digging power for it's size, no problem taking it off and putting it on ( although I do wish the 3PT could stay completely intact when the backhoe is on).
It's no full size backhoe, but it's been a godsend for loosening up ground prior to hauling it away with the FEL, for some trenching, digging stumps and for doing the excavation work for burying a propane tank. I'm considering using it to dig the footings for a barn next spring. It may well bottom out on some of the bigger stuff, but it's worth a shot - worst case I'll get most of it done and will rent a bigger machine for a day. If I hit the ledge I'm expecting, I'll need a breaker anyway...
So far, I'm pretty happy. I don't expect to do the job of a full size machine. If I did, I'd be disappointed, but I don't need full size for 90% of what I need. If I need to spend a little extra time digging a stump or burring a rock, so be it.
