What Year?

I know my tractor is a ym220. Or at least I believe it is.
How do I tell what year it is?
Is there a stamping somewhere?

Like california says and others Yanmar did not keep up with years produced of their models. Even the serial #'s are fuzzy as they must not have kept good records or at least released anything useful. I beleive there are lists on Hoye or some other site that lists models and years produced and thats about as close you can get. If you knew how many were produced you could look at your serial # stamped on the side of the trannsmission and then tell if you were on the back half or the front half of the production.

I kinda figured that. I am able to read the sticker on the left fender that says it is a ym220D.
Sure is a good little tractor. Pulls a 48" king cutter like a champ.
Now,...........to find a cheap boxblade somewhere.
And a ROPS. Just saying.:thumbsup:
