Welcome to TBN. I think Bri should have moved you thread to Cub Cadet Compacts, since this is a SCUT.

I've had a 5234 for 4 years. I plow snow with it in the winter, and move dirt/gravel in the summer, with the 60" angle dozer blade. SO, it's in 4wd most of the time. Haven't had any issues, and actually a strong little machine.
