I have a 7ft KK "Professional" series rear blade for my L3240. I beat on it this past Winter plowing hip deep wet snow, finding things like rocks & posts that weren't where I left them in the Fall - at least that's what I told my wife. Tweaked the tabs the 3pt pins are bolted to, but the rest of it is still straight. Weighs 340#, cost $500 - should be fine for the OP's intended use. For a 6000# machine, I'd pass for something much, much heavier.

Wow. That is strange. I would think yould bend a 250 pound blade just by considering putting it on an L series Kub. :D

I have a Rhino HD 7' [~ to your KK i think] which I bought used and have used on my JD 2010 45HP 2wd. The blade was bowed when I got it and has been bowed more by the JD. Im sure the Mahindra would turn it into a V plow if I caught something out at the tips. Such things just happen in the range of normal use and it takes a rugged blade to resist the forces generated.

Nope, never hurt it a bit and I did a LOT of dirt work with it too.

And I'm not sure what the rhino 7' looks like, but I dont think you could possibly bow this KK HD 7' blade wthe a 2010. Especially the way the bracing is behind the blade and the curvature of the blade itself.

I'll attach pics of my old blade , and my KK HD for comparison. Look at all that bracing on the KK:D

Also note that the rolled part on top of the moldboard of the smaller blade was like that when I got it. So no, that damage wasnt inflicted by my L3400.

MtnViewRanch: Of course I'm not comparing the KK blade to one like yours. Your being absurd. The o.p. has a b26 which cant even lift an 1100 # blade. I'm comparing the KK to other blades IN THE SAME CLASS. It is these blades to which it compares quite favorably.

I use a cheap rear blade its light and it will turn my b26 with foamed tires sideways. I like my landpride grader blade thing very much for doing the driveway.

The ditch??? well with anything thats not full sized you will have a hard time cutting much of a ditch with. I have M5400 fully weighted down and it will clean ditches but its a slow process.

My point was that you said that the name brands do not compare with KK.

You said[
"Everyone always overlooks the King Kutter blades. I'm talking the professional series, not the standard. It is built extremely heavy and the price is very good. I looked at the name brands and thought the king kutter was a much better more heavily built product."

Land Pride makes 10 different levels of blades, I'm sure that if you had looked at the same level of blade, it is the same or better than the KK pro series. By showing my blade, it is clear that the name brands do indeed make a heavy duty blade. ;)

Weight of the tractor plays a roll too. I never had a problem pulling my neighbor's home made drag. If it caught a rock the tires would slip a little allowing time for the drag to skip over it. Now that I have a 1200lb ballast box on the back the tires never spin and I have twisted it several times and need to be very careful. Mind you I'm normally running the engine at about 1500 rpm so it's not making full HP.
