Gooseneck Price Check

Been shopping for a gooseneck trailer. Priced one out today with a family owned local company who builds the trailers themselves.

22' Gooseneck Lowboy (20' + 2')
Stand up ramps
spare tire
2-7k dexters
2 jacks
tool box
stake pockets / rub rail
treated wood floor
i-beam neck
8" channel main frame

He also said he would weld some d-rings if i wanted.

That's a good price for the spec'd gooseneck. I'm currently shopping new and used for a 20' deck + 5' beavertail dual tandem gooseneck rated 22.5K lbs GVWR. Best price for new is around $8K (Big Tex, Elite, Mirage, PJ). Pricing for good used is $5-6K. New pricing for such trailers has recently jumped about $500 due to increased fuel costs for transportation and rubber (tires).

Not sure where you're located. Got mine for about the same price a few years back, similar specs but with 12" I-beam main frame.

That's cheap. If at all possible can you order w/ 8k dexters? Made a big difference on what I could haul legally and they are oil bath hubs instead of grease packed bearings.
