Well I'm thankful that it's all but over. Any snow we get now will melt in no time. I spent a little time with the grease gun hitting all the zerks and then spraying fluid film on the places the paint is gone. I did come up with a simple little mod to make moving the blower around with the fel much easier.

I had a couple of brackets from some uni-strut and some rings.

Cut them down with the porta band and then painted them with some blak rubberized undercoating.

I probably didn't need the angled bracket to support it but I figured it couldn't hurt and the side are much thicker than the top. And the safety police will notice I didn't cover the warning stickers. Now it's real easy to lift and move around.

Thats a great idea. I just put my blower away..... its a pain in the rump twice a year because I have to manually get it into the corner so it's out of the way. Finally this year I bought a furniture dolly to set it on. Two small ratchet straps to keep it in place and rolled it into the corner. :)

That looks like a good idea.
We're forecast to have 10cm or so of snow/sleet tonight, but it sounds like it'll be gone by the weekend.

It's been a cold spring and there's a chance of snow tonight but even though it's been cold the snow has almost all melted away. Any we get will just melt now that the frost is gone out of the ground. 10", I feel for you but it's not going to last, at least keep telling your self that.

He said 10 cm, which is 4". At this time of year, it still sucks, just not quite as bad :D

I'm glad to hear that winter is gone somewhere! It sure hasn't left Western Montana yet!

I removed my snowblower yesterday between rain showers. I just back the tractor up to a pallet, lower the blower and drive away after disconnecting the 3pt. Then after securing it to the pallet with some webbing I use the pallet forks to put it out of the way til next winter.
