I was seaching for scrap steel for a project and ran up on a couple of these baskets. They were in a pile of scrap steel at my local yard. I bought them for $2.oo each and used one on my B2320.
Sorry I don't have any idea what their original use was but it sure works good as a storage place. It is mounted on the stationary part of the ROPS Bar. Yes I know about drilling into bar but I used Two 1/4" bolts on eich side to mount angle iron and then bolted the basket to that.
Another idea that might be of interest is the "velcro" strips I mounted on either side. Perfect for holding rakes, shovels, or other items. I bought the velcro from Lowes and it is the type that sticks to itself. It comes in a roll 2" wide by, I think 20' long. The best part is the velcro is MADE IN U.S.A. :thumbsup:
