I have a tc40da with top & tilt both with dpcv's the problem I'm having is it's hard to feather the controls with them. Is there such a thing as a fitting to restrict the flow to slow the action of the cylinders down.

You could install needle valves in line. That will slow down the operation. It depends on the pressure the load is imposing on the check valve, as to how much pressure you will have to build up to release the check, and by then you might be past the feather on the valve

Installing one of these valves in one hose per cylinder will do the trick. I got mine at the Parker hydraulic store

You could also install a small in line orifice to restrict the flow. Not sure what could happen if the needle valved worked its way close and there wasn't a by pass.

Are the valve spools controlled by cables? If so that could be a big part of the problem. I find the cable controls for my rear remotes less than ideal due to friction.

Nothing will happen except the PRV (pressure relief valve) will open and the cylinder won't move. Just like when the cylinder reaches the end of it's stroke. The "bypass" is already built into the system.

+1. I see so many using 3/8" hose on TnT and grapple setups-it's really a waste of money, plus they are a lot harder to route.

When I first installed my 3rd scv to use with a 3 pt snow plow and HTL it came with huge BH couplings, so I went with the larger hoses.

I thought at first it was to fast to control and had asked about some way to slow mine down like OP.
But it didn't take long at all to get used to it, now it is no issue for me. That's with my single valve that has enough travel in the lever, not sure how OP's controls differ.
