Tractor
Massey Ferguson 135
Hi from Faison NC. Just joined this forum and I'm looking for information and parts for our old MF 135. We still live on a functioning farm and this tractor is used daily. My Dad bought it new back in the 60's I believe, and it still works well but needs some loving to say the least. Lights are non functioning but I believe I still have most of them. It's a diesel version so the only electrical power it needs is to start. We pull the battery cable off when it is parked because all the wires are broken, cut, pulled apart, etc. I think the easiest fix would be to replace the entire harness but I'm having trouble locating a supplier.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I rewired my 1964 MF135 diesel myself--don't need to spend extra $$ on a ready-made harness. The wiring is so simple you can do it yourself with auto electrical wire, crimp connectors and plastic cable ties.

Don't doubt that it is simple, but I need to know where and what color code to use to reattach the wires that I have. The harness I have has been torn up pretty bad.
Do you have a schematic with color codes?
Thanks.

Here's the circuit diagram for the MF135 diesel from the operator manual

Color code-- there's nothing sacred about that--use your own code.
