Looks very neat, but what is the process for opening the hood?

The vert. exhaust kit is in two parts. The first part is under the hood. The second part is the pipe which is a press down fit over the under hood part. Simple.

I think Deere made the vertical pipe short so it would have clearance with the roll bar folded, and made it larger in diameter to resist bending if you did hit something. Not sure what will happen if I were to hit something with the vert. pipe. It could just slide off the fitting under the hood and fall off damaging nothing. Probably NOT!

I made the mirror mount..out of soft wood so if I nicked it, it would break and be a cheap fix. I was able to use existing holes in loader frame so no drilling needed.

Also, notice right beside the mirror are square tubes mounted to the loader frame. I use them to carry, shovels, rakes, etc when the loader itself is full of material.
