Decided to do a little "winter maintenance" on our 425 since its so cold out we can barely work. It got down to like 35 degrees F yesterday! Anyway I put new choke and throttle cables, changed the o rings in the lift arm hydraulic box (not as bad as I thoughtactually), new oil for hydraulic and engine as well as filters, changed the link bar that connects the front to the back of the machine. I changed the engine last year at 1200 hrs. I have 1700 on it now and its the first time I've done any of the maintenance items I listed.

All I have left is to change the seals on the hyd pump. Anybody done that???

When you say it is 35 degrees and to cold to work, where are you located. Here in SE Wisconsin we are waiting for it to get up to 35 Degrees. Enjoy the warm weather.

It was 15 on Sunday and I went fishing. Nice and balmy. Didn't even need my gloves! It was too warm in the tent with no heater, just sunlight, so I stood outside and fished.
