I see you have a 187D. What will the littler one do that this won't? It seems to me you already have what amounts to the premium version of a 155.

Nothing wrong with a 155. I rented one once, then a similar tiny 4x4 Kubota the following weekend to finish the landscaping project. Both with loaders. Comparing them, I actually found the Yanmar easier to use even though it was 2 wd.

The more above and below about 18-30 hp in a Yanmar, the scarcer/rarer they seem to be, also in parts supply.

More of a novelty I think...I love my 187D with the fel...it stays on my land 25 miles away......I have another piece of land that I mainly mow and maybe some light boxblading work....the grass is usually a little high for my craftsman....and with the 155 without a fel...I could use my smaller trailer rather than the big one.....

I also need something at home to tinker with.....

Not something I have to have....but if the right one came up I would be in for it.

Are the 155D and 1300D the same tractor? I have a 1300D I want to sale. Problem is, I'm in Oregon.

Dano- seen alot of these small yanmars in your area.....shipping would be pretty ugly

Yannyman..... I should have bought a 147 back a couple of months ago...but now these little green machines have got my eye....

Would the 155 handle my 4' bush hog??? How about a 4' finish mower??

aahhhh now i see what that hole in the side panel is for. the hydraulic deck lift lever. you can also see where my lift lever comes thru the floor below it.
