I made a HUGE mistake...

I stopped by my local Kubota dealer and he had a pretty new L3700SU on the lot which he let me take for a spin around the place...perfect cockpit for a 6'3" guy...everything in easy reach, drove like a dream...I am in trouble...I think the buying timetable has just been expedited...

Go for it! I am glad that I bought my B7800 four years ago, I can't believe where the time went, but now I own it out right and I am happy I pulled the trigger back in 07. You will be happy you did the same.:thumbsup:

Go for it gregfender. I have had my L3700US for about 6 mouths and I get a smile on my face every time I see it, drive it, or get close to it. Just ask my wife. :thumbsup:

I had the same problem brother, I went to look at a Cub Cadet 3200, and did not like the operator station, too cramped for me (6' 1" 300 lbs) and the dealer had a L3400 he let me sit on and drive around the lot a little, even though it was sold and he had no more. I went next day to another dealer in another city and bought a L3400 (same tractor minus 2 HP) It just fit me very well.

Sounds like a great tractor with great HP for general utility use. My only concern would be if it is like our Kubota B21 at work that has the brake pedals on the same side as the hydrostatic drive pedals...makes using the differential brakes kinda difficult/awkward...

Great. Finally someone finds a hugh problem with this machine so don't buy it. Course I've never even considered this brake thing a problem out of the Kubotas I've bought since they've all been HST and I rarely if ever even use the brakes. Let off and it stops and give it fuel and it goes, boy does it go and go and go. I say get it!!!! In spite of this really bad brake thing being on the right side.

Yep, imagine my embarrassment; didn't even pick up on this major design flaw after using them for years; guess I will be tractor shopping today to get a decent tractor/s.

The older Allis Chalmers are very close to the same color. Would make the painting a little easier:laughing:
