I should be out clearing the WHOLE 2" of snow on the drive, working on my tractors, or doing some cleaning in the barn [ needs it ]... but these durn critters keep following me around, getting underfoot, and begging for food....

Oh boy you really have a problem, you should do something about them fast!!! Those kritters mulitply really fast, before you know it they will be everywhere. [:)]

That's a really great job, funny how little it takes to make stuff look so neat.

Who says you don't know how to use hand tools?;) Nice!

After you feed them, do they drop nails all over the yard?

Great job.

I would copy those, but I am afraid my crazy turkey hunting neighbor would shoot them.

At least, I got rid of all my old broken shovels and forks..... Now, no one else can say 'Oh, please make me one'.... Only took about two and a half days...not bad for an old retired electrician making his first critters.....

Neat trucks. I have a 2002 [old body style] H.O. 6speed... best truck I have ever owned.

Funny, but right now, I feel their are lots of guys digging around in their junk pile for old forks, wacking up 1/2" rerod, and warming up their buzz boxes. Gonna be over run with them critters by spring..... :)

You need to up there feed just a bit, they look hungry, do not want PITA after you!
Nice job, wish you were not so far away, I would drop my collection of "maybe some day I will fix it".

This is not my design, by the way, the credit should go to some person that put this picture on the internet, which my little sister found, and forwarded it to me to make something for her.... Here is the picture she emailed me.... I'm sure lots of these have been made by many people in the past...

Nice job. I think you should paint them pink and put them in the front yard. (or the neighbors)

Thanks! They are a expensive hobby if mine:confused2: Just keep an eye on the fuel pressure on that 02, the lift pumps are prone to failing then taking out your injection pump.

I have found a old pitch fork and short chunks of rebar.... I better add this stuff to my winter "to do" pile that keeps growing. A store downtown in Travers City had a German Sheperd made out of rebar and other misc parts that I wanted... the wife said no at the time then said she wished we would have got it when we arrived home

I looked them up on the internet. While the forked rebars are harmless, apparently the shovel tailed rebars can be quite aggressive so be careful.

Let em rust a little bit and they'll become "folk art" ......... the price is then double.

Sorry, I got tagged with that by a Toyota owner (3 F150 owners talking together) about 2 years ago, and I've been laying in wait for the opportunity to use it on someone. It just seemed to be the right moment. :D:thumbsup:

I found another pitchfork with a questionable handle, and sacraficed it to the critter gods... When I finish it, the thing ran outside and perched in the front yard..... Extra points if you can tell me what it is perched on. I pulled it out of the muck downstate in the early 70's, and it was old then. Figured it was something out of a foundry, 'cuz it was hard to drill, like it was heat treated with chunks of tooling steel in it. Their is no pouring spout on the rim, though... Wheels and axle are solid steel with no bearings, but the wheels do have zerks..... And, it is very heavy... ????????

I have no idea what the cast iron pot on wheels is, but I think your use of pitch forks instead of shovels is a big improvement in design. Of course, I'd hate to stumble over any of them in the dark.;)
