If you recall, the major East Coast storm of 2010 was in February which hit the mid-Atlantic area hardest.
Bide your time...you'll likely get a chance to use that blower...

Winter is alive and thriving in the northern Adirondacks.

Snow cover was reduced a bit today with above freezing temps, now when it freezes we will have an ice base untill mud season.

Took advantage of the break in temps today & put the chains on to deal with the ice we will have.

The bobsled team over at the Olympic training center in Lake Placid could use my driveway.

That little storm we had a week ago is only a preview of what is to come. Same thing last year, snowed just before Christmas, then a couple of weeks of warmer weather. In February we got blasted with 2 storms, one right on top of the other. This past snow storm I cleaned up with a blade and the FEL.
I bought an old snow blower (Ford model 715) in October. I've been rebuilding it when weather conditions permitted. I finally got my auger shaft bearings so I've been putting it back together. It's only covered with primer so it's not beautiful, but I believe it will do the job. I'll have to finish painting next summer. Should look real pretty in Kubota orange.

Yes sir, you are correct, I was surprised that we actually got any snow worth pushing. Especially that early in December.
