I just purchased a 2006 bx2230. I removed the deck and put on a 5' grader blade. Is there a way to lock the mower deck arms up so they do not hang down and move with the three point hitch

Sure. Raise your 3 pt hitch all the way up. Then set your mower depth gage dial to the highest setting. I beilive there is a setting that says "top" or something like that. Then go ahead and use your 3pt. The lift arms for the mower deck will stay in the raised position.
