Mechron's are on the way

My dealer told me they are "on the water as we speak". Hopefully we'll get to see one soon. There are 50 coming to Canada but he did not know about the US.

Yep, they are on their way. We will have them in the dealership as soon as they arrive. They will be available in both the US and Canada.

Good things come to those who wait.....and God knows there has been some "wait"....but from we can tell there is plenty of good.

I guess that you don't know what a sarcastic face is. Never said that they were not telling the truth. Just that they made a statement that was very general. And still no time frame, just a statement that they are on the way. 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, a year? :confused2:

Ok, I'll admit to driving a John Deere and not a Kioti.. but what the heck is a Merchron? The name sounds like an outboard motor shaped like a wrist watch.

What will the ride be like? If anything like my Mule 3010 than I wouldn't want one, if they ride like a Ranger (handles the bumps) than I might have to take a look.

Yesterday I saw one-strapped down to a truck bed. They are here. 400 imported into the USA in this first lot. My dealer has only 2. Maybe they are sprinkling them around in pairs? Selling price was quoted at $10,500.00 bare (List was $11,500.00). Options include Hydrolic bed ($1,500.00) Sun Shade, Windshield, Cab, winch etc.. It is a wide beast!

It looks real plain jane. Zero bling. Utilitarian X 100. Lots of room in the cockpit. Steel bed, plastic flooring or covering under your feet. Simple levers and switches. Access engine by lifting off & removing bottom of the bench seat. Room for two full sized humans and a dog on the bench seat. Nice glove box with latching door. 12 Volt recepticle on dash. Lots of empty switch panels for accessories. Dealer it tops out around 20 MPH. I did not test drive it. Was offered one of the two for a Dec. 23rd delivery to my house-equipped.

Did not pull the trigger. Next batch is coming in March/April.

Yep the changes are the tranny/gear belt drive unit-and some mods to the frame members to get around a possible infringement issue. They are rolling in now..!! Can't wait to get the reviews.

From what I remember, I thought the original ones had the engine from the CK20, so a 22hp diesel. Hopefully we will know for sure soon.

22hp diesel, same engine as the CK20S. CVT Transmission and lots of optional accessories.

The Mechron is really coming. The NC Warehouse will start shipping in the next couple weeks.

A diesel UTV for around 10k? I might have to go take a gander at them. Does Kioti have a "build you own" on their website? I didnt see one and it would be kind of nice to play with all the available options.
