Oil & Fuel CK20 Oil filter

I got a new oil filter to do the pre winter change on my CK20 HST. I got all the oil drained out, pulled the old filter off, got the new one out of the box and to my surprise, it was a much larger filter, an E6201-32433, where as the old one was a E5205-32091. I contacted the dealer and he assured me that this was the right filter. He explained that Kioti had gone to a common filter and this would fit the CK20 as well as other models. I believe that this filter is actually intended for a CK25 and up. I said okay and put it on and tightened it up, put in the oil and fired it up. No leaks! I'll keep an eye on it for a while to make sure everything is okay.

Has anybody else heard of this universal filter?

I use NAPA #1334 oil filters. Kioti filters are to **** expensive for me.

How much is a NAPA filter ? I think I paid 8 bucks for a Kioti oil filter.

E5205-32091 is still being produced. Maybe your dealer had a misunderstanding with his rep. I use the E5205 everyday, have plenty in stock and priced cheaper than NAPA.
