B2630 new or old seat?

This is the seat on my 2007 B2630. Would someone who has been there tell me if this is the old or new seat? Messicks has side by side pictures. The old one has the arm rests but doesn't have the design in the seat. The new one has the design but no arm rests. I've got a hybrid it seems so can someone straighten me out? Thank you.

That is the new seat with the arms attached. I have the new seat on my B3030. I did not like the arms when I had the old seat and took them off. I did not put them on the new seat either. The holes are there if you want to install them.

Your B2630 is a "Deluxe" tractor that comes with armrests.The improved replacement seats come without armrests.You will need to transfer them to the new seat.I seem to recall a 5mm hex bit is needed-they are very tight.I bent my 5mm bit and was able to loosen the bolts with a 5mm long arm hex key.New seat is well worth it.Nice tractor by the way and Good Luck!

I agree, that looks like the old seat to me and I have had them both because I had the old seat on my B7610 and replaced it with the new seat through a dealer swap out.

Mine looks just like that on my B2630 and I thought it was the new seat. It does seem like it slopes forward a bit too much on mine. Now wonder if I have the old seat too?

I'm really wondering about it now. The seat does slope somewhat downward but I never ever considered it uncomfortable or unsafe as I always belt myself in. Was there any definitive change or marking on the new vs. old seat that a guy could base his decision upon? I was using the indentions in the seat itself to identify it as a new seat (as shown on Messicks web site) but that may not be the case.

That is the new seat. The angle of the photo is what makes it look like it slopes down. The new seat also has thicker padding. The thickness of the front of the seat cushion and the upward contour in the middle is the giveaway.

These are pictures I took of mine on 10-22-2007. The day I swapped it out for the old one. Nice improvement.
