Is chipping supposed to be this hard??

Why you have a burn pit, you save them till no restrictions. If its wooded why are you picking up the branches? I have 100 or so acres of woods and i dont touch branches, if i do its cause i cut them down and i just drag them out of the road and leave thme. :laughing:

fine by me, just seems like an awful lot of work. i burn mine around the house, so i really dont have a dog in the fight.

My response was a bit harsh...and I apologize for that.

I actually enjoy doing chipping and such work (love plowing snow!!). Might sound nuts...but yard work is very relaxing to me, even if it is hard work sometimes.
Anyway, I'd wanted a chipper for years...now that I have one...I'm gonna enjoy it!

As far as burning, although I enjoy a nice fire (with a cigar and jigger of scotch), I like it in a firepit or fireplace. One can lose control of an open burn too easily around here.
