Sorry for the poor quality of the pic. I saw this truck yesterday and had to take a pic.

Reasons for stretching?

I'm trying to figure out what purpose this truck is supposed to serve. looks like it would bend in half with a load in it...Ugly as sin too.

that would be my guess

That looks like a lot of the camper hauler trucks, only they have sleepers in them. Maybe someone stopped pulling campers and got rid of the sleeper.

that frame must have 1/2 inch plate welded to it to keep from bending with just 1500lbs in it.

I've seen that done by rodeo guys, but there is always a living quarters in between. They probably have took it off for some reason or just don't have it on yet after the stretch.

Ya, I was just going to say that. I have an F-350 that hauls rv's from the factories to the dealers, and I see lots of those stretched trucks with sleepers on them. Personally I'd rather have an rv tow body on it, looks a little more normal than leaving the pickup box on.
