Want to hear from those BX23/25 owners that remove BH, install 3ph kit, remove 3ph kit and then reinstall BH. Like one to five times a year or more.
Know it will be a lot easier but a bit more expensive to just buy a B2320 for 3ph work. What's $180 a month really worth?:)

Well, they first couple times I did the switch I was like :confused2:! It is far easier and quicker now. I think I can make the change in about 15 minutes now. The important thing is to make sure you put your BH on a flat/level surface. :p

After you buy the new RTV, then you can buy another tractor.
RTV is out. Have very little use for one after honest pondering.

get a dolly from bxpanded. Makes it very easy!

No one is telling how easy/hard it is to add/remove the parts to use 3ph. I've never opened the box yet to see what's in it but it's heavy.

Adding and removing the 3PH takes 2 min at best. The hardest/longest time will be assembling it for the first time. Once you get the whole thing assembled, it's a breaze because you can leave the unit together and at that point all you have to do is insert the lower link pin bushings and pin (rod), insert the stopper pin and connect the 2 lift rod pins. The top link takes 15 seconds. Even quicker to remove cause gravity works with you.

I agree the first time will take time as to putting all together but after that brezze to change. I have backhoe on platform/wheels and have made up short hoses to extend from trac to hoe to mount then hook up hoe to the factory ones. Also makes liftings outriggers up easy after leak down and hoe is in bad place to drag out after forget chain on riggers.

Is the 3ph the same on the BX25 as is is on the BX24? Speaking from experience with the BX24...

I think the backhoe mount is well done on the BX24 and found it easy to remove/put on. I used a dolly so it made it a little easier to line it up. The backhoe is light enough that its easy to wheel it around the garage and store it when not in use. I have a larger BH on a different tractor that is not as easy to move around.

The 3ph is pretty easy as well. I have a short stool on wheels that I sit on when installing it that makes it easier for me to lift things into place. Both arms on the BX24 3ph are connected by the sway bars and so the whole assembly is pretty heavy, but you only have to lift one arm at a time to connect to the lift arms. The sway bars connect to a rod with bushings on the BX24. It is a little fussy at first, but quite easy to work with after a few times. They might have made that better on the BX25.

I think 15 min is about right for swapping one to the other.

Thanks for info. Would one of you guys want to come put mine on for the first time and show me how to do it?:D Guess I need to open the box and see what's in it so I can more clearly understand what you all are describing.

Sounds like a good You-tube project, John. I should know better than to read posts on bh's as I got a 2660 and was certain I wouldn't want a bh. Lead on, John!

Would it help to have step by step instructions with pics? or do you need a video? Are you starting with the BH removed? :D

I traded my BX2660 or B3200, can't remember which to the BX25 or F3080. Did the trades earlier this year. I could never justify the extra cost of a backhoe and pondered one for years. Tried to think of needs for a BH to justify to myself the extra cost. Couldn't but did it any way one day. Can't ever go back to no BH and that's what the BHers kept saying. My brother lives next door and nephew just a few houses away and they would never want me to go without a BH.

I'm starting with the BX25 just like it came from the dealer. Messicks has a video of the removal and reattachment of the BH but not the 3ph assembly. Video of 3ph assembly and attach/detach would be great.

My tractor is a B series, but the dealer told me it was the same process. The first time I mounted my BH it took 45 minutes, but only 3-5 of those were spent removing the 3 PH. Putting it back on was just as easy.

I'm to cheap to spend $180 for a triangle dolly for the BH even though it looks great. So, who built (bought) their own that's willing to send me dimensions of their triangle dolly. If you built one or had one built for you, I'd also appreciate a picture or two.

Today we're taking the loader and backhoe off for the first mowing...:confused2:

The 3 point hitch is an option for the bx25, do the arms come mounted on the tractor and all you need is the box of all the linkage or do you need the arms too?
