In the bottom picture, left side, that looks like either a hydraulic cyl or a pneumatic/air cyl. The arrow in the top picture looks to be pointing a piece of the frame. The pressure readings on the gage should tell you if the system is using air or hydraulics. If the gage reads in the thousands, it is probably a hyd gage.

It does look like pneumatic. Can you give a reference of what it is off of?
Reminds me of a automated plasma cutter from what I see of it..?
That what you have marked out, is there a sensor type device? Wheel? Track?

The thing your arrow in the first pic is pointing to looks like a flexible hose loom that the hoses run in to keep them out of the way. I have seen it mainly on a manlift with an extensible boom. It flexes and the hoses can then be kept out of the way of everything else.

I am rubbing my eyes, and still can not see it. LOL!

Look at the segments in the 3rd picture, then look for them in the first two. They look sort of like bulldozer tracks. The giveaway is that the hoses emerge from the loom and connect to the motor or whatever it is there.

O.K. I thought there was something on the side he was pointing out. Last picture is red in color, I would say you are right. I am still trying to figure out what it is off of.

Is this a CNC Tube Bender.......the Mandrel insert and retract section.....?

He is asking about a hyd/air actuator, but is pointing to a cable holder. Just what is the real question. Please use a good camera, and no cell phone pic.

What I thought was a hyd cyl is actually a CNC mandrel used for gripping and turning metal tubing for bending. Although there are some hyd cyl for gripping and bending. As far as the original post, what is the question?

The whole machine or a particular part. Basically, the machine uses a computer program to bend a pipe to your specifications. You and the computer will make up a program to cause the machine to take a pipe/tube, and place it in a certain position, bend it at a certain angle and do this until the pipe is bent to your specifications. There are many different parts that work together to accomplish this. Is thee a question about individual parts?
