5045e price check

Okay, your numbers are sounding a little bit better. That is about 6% off list. In my area, 8% seemed about the norm until I called around and found the price I got from the Mega Dealer.

Yes, if it's been run around the yard, you will still get a new tractor warranty, but it has STILL been used. I think it's very unfair of them to run up some hours for their own purposes and then hold fast on price as if you were special ordering it. Mine had been on their lot a few weeks and had 1 hour showing.

Trying to charge you a new price for a demo and then trying to stick you with a trumped up freight charge on top of that just doesn't sound like good will to me. I am admittedly an old fashioned guy that expects to be dealt with fairly, not taken for granted as a customer.

My $0.02,

My $0.02,

i agree with you! it's like buying a new car or truck though. couple of weeks ago i went to checkout a new 2011 F-250 that was very similar to how i wanted my next truck equiped. i talked to the salesman, test drove it around the block(didn't even put a mile on it). i noticed when i first cranked the truck up it read 58 miles on the odometer. the area he allowed me to test drive the truck wasn't even a mile. i wonder how many times someone that worked there used this truck, or took it home for the night, or how many trips this thing had to have made around the same area i was allowed to test drive in. i told him 58 miles makes this truck used doesn't it? he looked at me like i had gone crazy and bluntly told me no. oh well, seemed like a new truck to me would have less then 5 miles on it. i bet if i bought one with 0 miles and put 58 on it and traded it back in they wouldn't give me what i paid for it even though i was the only driver. yet, many other people had to have driven this truck and as you know everyones driving style is different. what makes only me putting the miles on it more "used" then 10 other people driving it?
