Sure is an eye catcher. I'm sure it'll be a great rig for you. Congrats on a nice truck.

Looks like they did a nice job but to be honest not my cup of tea. That does not matter though, its yours and you pay the bill so make it how you like it.

Can not wait to hear you impression on the new diesel. You did right by skipping the F-250 and jumping right to the SRW F-350. I will never own another 3/4 ton. Just not enough payload with them.

Very Nice:thumbsup:

The paint job came out very nice! Now to do something with that front grill, it's so out of place. Even something like a blacked out or billet grill would be nice. Like this:

Very nice truck. I routinely hear great things about the new Super Duty. They keep catching my eye more and more.

Very nice...Did they clear over the air-brushing?

Very nice. It would look even better with the appropriate license plates.

Looks good, but I couldn't do that to mine. They would be repainting it weekly. :)

Thanks for the comments - yeah they re-clear coated it. The plates on it are 8000 - I know I know ...lol

???:confused: Is this a Wisconsin thing?

He has it registered at 8000#. That barely covers the curb weight let alone any payload.

No big deal really. Just something that catches my eye for some reason.

If you ask me the entire front end/nose of the thing needs a SERIOUS makeover. just down right fugly.

your black out version looks better but all it manages to do is make the 10" crome outline at the edge of the grill stand out even more than it did before

I thought the same thing with the new Chevy/GM trucks back in 2008. I will admit they have now grown on me, especially the GM versions. I have always been a Ford Truck fan but this one took me a few times of seeing one in person to say "yes, i like it".

I still think the Dodge is probably the best looking trucks, the GM is the best riding, but the Ford is the best overall truck. Been that way in my eyes for years.

Some states want you to purchase weighted tags, like NC, if you are going to tow more than the weight of your vehicle. It's just another racket for the state to make money. I would say most people don't even know about the law here in NC as I see pickups pulling all kinds of things without weighted tags. Half the time their trailers don't even have lights

I've wondered how much it matters. I have "C" tags on mine too and the GVWR is 9400. I wasn't about to do the 10k plates if I could avoid it, and it appears nobody at the DMV checks or cares:confused: Ever since I got this truck, I've been noticing the truck plates here. I RARELY see a truck that has correct plates on it. Lots of half tons with B plates, but at 6k, they are only 500-800 lbs under that empty. Same deal here. I see lots of 3/4 ton and 1 tons with C plates... And even the 10k plates are too light for a lot of 1 ton SRW's nowadays. Go figger...

Oh - nice paint job. Not my thing either but looks like a great job.

I think it is probably a bigger deal in a commercial setting.

I scratch my head even more when I see Nissans and Toyotas with gray plates on them.
