From your pics, it appears there are multiple mounting holes to choose from, in the frame, for the generator to mount to. I wonder if it can be slid back to make your shaft space a bit more generous???

It can be moved forward (there are holes for that), but is as far back on the frame as it will go. A larger tractor may need it moved forward.

That generator looks exactly like the one I bought with "Torq" decals on it. They must be from the same manufacturer.

15 kw... could you wire it into the house panel and avoid using the outlets?

Well a couple of months ago it would show up on HFs website at $1299 plus shipping. Now there is no price listed. I haven't stopped by to see if it is still in the store order catelog. Maybe they have discontinued It?

I bought one of these this past spring for backup power for the house. I've used it twice and it has worked very well. I had to move the unit back all the way on the stand and it was still to close to connect the pto shaft so I cut & weld some channel stock to move the pto attachment points 5" fwd. I think the Torq model has this already hence the extra $100 in cost. Now connecting the pto shaft is still tight but doable. My gearcase vent does leak a little oil when it heats up but only after a couple of hrs of use. So far I'm happy with it. My only other concern is that the unit is a pinch to big for my tractor (Kubota B2910). To keep from posible overloading the tractor I run it through 40 amp breaker.

I just bought a clone of the same 15 KW generator from Rural King on line. They presently have them on sale for $799.99 + $100 shipping. The local stores also stock them and will honor the on-line price if you print out the web add. I think RK also still offers another 10% off if you open a credit card with them. I figured the shipping was nearly offset by the local taxes so I had it shipped to OK.

Much cheaper than HF or anything on Ebay.

Looks like you got a deal...does it come with a PTO drive shaft ? those cost about $100..and they don't show one but still it seems like a great deal..They sure don't give much information on it..I posted on their site with some questions...Thanks for posting it.
