When I lift the seat , this metal hook/catch is just sitting there.
It's affixed by two substantial bolts.
Doesn't contact anything under the seat mechanism .......
The Dealer didn't know what it was for ; any ideas Guys ?
It's on the BX1860 and 2360 , but not on the 2660 ( which has
a different rear chassis member ........ ).

It looks big enough to be a combination oil strainer and cap/dip stick and it appears to be too thin a metal bolt head for a bolt of that size for sure.
like everyone else they build the tractors around the components.

Please ship tractor across the pond for services rendered-on second thought not a goood idea as it is a grey market Kubota:laughing:

But a new vacuum bagged kubota combine shipped in a clean sealed 20 foot shipping container will gladly be accepted

I hope winter is going well for you and the weather is tolerable.

I wonder if that thing has an metric Sunstrand transmission in it?

.

Look in your manual.....It is the operator manual holder. The manual comes in a bag that fits the brackets.

There should be a wider bracket oppisite the one you show

is that for a seat that turns for a backhoe

Two bolts and a thick metal anchor to hold the
other end of a 1oz PVC bag ? Why isn't this on a
BX2660 which has the paperwork in the same place ?
Doesn't the back of the BX2660 seat open and that is where the paperwork is?
