***Winner*** TBN Messy Yard Contest!

After an intense two week competition between TractorByNet.com members to win aBlack & Decker 24V Cordless String Trimmer, 10 finalists were selected based on the unruliness of their landscapes in the TractorByNet.com Messy Yard Contest, which concluded today after a week-long member voting period.

With a collection of weeds, debris, grass patches, and sparse maintenance, one member stood out from the pack. Although voting was close early on, Gotrocks from Lower Alabama wound up running away with the lead, earning more than 44% of the public vote.

The voters have decided, and Gotrocks yard has been recognized as the messiest. One of the reasons we opened this contest up to member photo submissions is so that we could give the trimmer away to a member who really needed it. Hopefully after charging up the Black & Decker 24V Cordless String Trimmer, Gotrocks will turn that messy yard into a beautiful lawn!

So, congratulations Gotrocks, the Black & Decker Trimmer is now yours, courtesy of Black & Decker!

While that is indeed a "messy yard" I thought the competition was geared more towards the need for a weed trimmer. There are some weeds in this picture, but what the yard needs more than trimming is the removal of scrap. Regardless, congrats to the winner!

It was a fun competition and the masses have spoken. Besides, how can I complain when I had the least messy yard by vote.:laughing: Looking forward to seeing the pix when you get it cleaned up. Having seen your front yard, I suspect that the weed eater will get put to good use...
