How many and what size and type of bales?

Just regular hay bales, i think 4' long. I'd say 45-55 pound bales, we hauled 6 ton at a time on the truck.

OK, thanks. I was wondering if they were the 40-60# bales or the 90-100# bales that we get. My son will turn 15 in March and although he can handle the 90# bales, they wear him out pretty quick. He's pretty much done after 15-20 bales.

I did happen to move some 90# pounders this morning. They aint bad. :thumbsup: I got up at 5, moved another 6 ton of hay, and went to work at 7:30 to a shed job. Put roofing on it, paper on the walls, trim around the windows, installed doors, windows, ready for siding now.:thumbsup: I might end up moving another 6 ton of hay tomarrow morning too.

I am far from a wimp though.:laughing: I also got to pack wet lumber around today. And they were 2x12s.

Nope. That was my son's wording. I was just relaying a message. I think Johndeere3720 sounds like an awsome kid and seems to be willing to work a lot harder than my son wants to. Getting him to do things is like having teeth pulled...a real pain.:laughing:

I work whenever possible. I usually refer to it as "fun". It is just my personality.

Work is slowing down next week when I go to the beach...
So I will pull one of my famous vanishing acts...

The folks at work are still trying to figure out what a DAQ phone is...
I told them I was leaving my work phone at home cause I have a DAQ phone for vacation....

We'll see what happens....
And of course this mean no TBN for a period too....

Well it is definately alot quieter when I aint got the company phone!!!

But we will see, got an question this afternoon, something about wanting me to be on call..... uh-- it's my vacation right???????
Sure, just deduct 1 day from my charge vacation....

today was 3 more hours with the weedeater/chainsaw, 2 on the tractor, 2 spreading grass seed and wheat straw and a little bit on the ATV after almost 2 hours cleaning gutters...

I used the ATV and little trailer to move the gutter gunk and some leaves from under the deck down a trailer the tractor can't travel.....

Trailer handles about 10 cuft, same as the loader on my L3400..

Anyway....
got about another 200 yards of driveway to weeded.....
may get that done tomorrow afternoon.....


time to figure out what to rub on sore muscles.....
