Band saw cutting fluid recomendations???

I'm not talking about how many cuts but how often it gets used.

Will the soluble oil thicken up and spoil or do I just go to oil and be done with it? Then it could sit a month or two between uses and not be all gummed up.

Just wondering.

no it wount gum up it just begins to smell after a yr or so u drain it wash the tank with water then mix new if u use the soluble oil straight without mixing it with water it will last trimsol is the best but expencive a better choise it soluble synthetic its much cheaper.

Ellis bandsaws use air... not liquids. I can't see messing around with extra oil / water-milk solutions getting spilled on the floor. I make a mess without this adding to the equasion.
