Two problems with my new BX25

For your peace of mind.(do your self a favor and drain the udt out of that axle and refill with Gear Lube anyhow).

Have you done this on other Kubotas as well? Would there be less of a leak issue because of the higher viscosity? It seems to be a good idea but I need some more hard data. Thanx.

Up to the 60 series they would drive with the brake engaged and many, including me would drive for awhile before we noticed it. So, since you have one of the series that the brake holds it's hard for you to understand your good fortune and you take it as normal. Is normal now but wasn't before or still isn't on the other series tractors.

John, The brake on the 60 series is the same as the 50 series.

Own a BX2660 and a BX25, they don't drive off with the brake on. Had a BX2350 and I think it would drive OK with brakes on like my former BX's. My experience as I remember it. I'm old and it's been over a year since I had the BX2350 so I may be confused about it but not the 60 series. The 2 60 series that I currently have in my possession will not drive with the brakes on.

I've had the same fuel gauge problem - it hasn't worked properly since I bought it. Usually I'm able to pay attention, but this weekend I discovered that it uses a lot of fuel in high gear driving to my neighbor's place and back (2 miles), and almost ran out of fuel. If someone can provide detail about a replacement part, or what is commonly wrong, I'd be very eager to hear.
