F3080 is crying to get out!!

I'm disappointed that my tractor is still in a crate.:( I was hoping to get it by early next week. Was told I would get it by Memorial Day.

Yours is coming out of the crate sometime tomorrow. I would love to think we could get it done tomorrow, but it takes pretty much a full day to mount a loader and mower. I think we will finish it up Tuesday and deliver Wednesday. If we can work a miracle, we will do our best to get it finished.

That must be the 1850 in their used tractor listing online.

Good things come to those who wait!

I will be giving you a call tomorrow to discuss delivery days. Given your current busy schedule, I have a solution I think.

Is there some guy there named "Grady" ? Or was that a typo ? Surely if you've bought a hundred tractors from a guy, you would know how to spell his name wouldn't you ?
I usually buy from Steve instead of Grady or Brady or Gary or Velda.:)

I'm going to send you pictures of the BX2660 I'm leaving with them. It keeps crying for you.:)

Come on JT dont try to change the subject.:D I must admit the 2660 would be a good addition to the fleet. But my tractor budget is all used up for the year. I will continue to monitor the "JT Tractor Break in Service" for what is coming through the process. :D All kidding aside that F3080 looks like it would be a lawn beast. Are they loosely based on a specific tractor platform? Will they cut as fast as a ZTR? It looks like it is 4wheel drive and that would be the only type of mower that I could upgrade to. To many hills not to have 4WD. The front mount would probably be a faster mower giving a more manicured look(not big on my list, I think clover is green and good enough and I have never sprayed for broad leaf weed or such).

Ha, no worries here...but if you accidentally mix up that delivery and I get the B3030 going to Jamestown...well, let's just say I might not be too disappointed.:D

Keep watching, your going to see a new man. :)
The F is faster than a ZTR. Kubota ZTR top speed 10.6 mph and F 12.5 mph but irrelavant because you could only do that on a paved parking lot and stay on it. They don't resemble any tractor I've ever seen but the new one is 4wd. My F2680E is 2wd which is great for my level rental property but it won't mow but about half of my home property because of how steep it is. That's the reason I got or am getting the F3080 4wd for home mowing. The front deck with rear discharge, to me, is the only way to go for mowing and only mowing. You can add attachments to the front with the mowing deck off but I don't see that happening for me. With the BX25 I will have a tractor available to do tractor stuff. I have a 60" deck on the F2680 but ordered a 72" deck on the F3080 so I'm gaining another foot of cut over the 60" BX2660 MMM. The F also has a great seat that has several adjustments to help with that comfort older people like and need.:)
I haven't sprayed for yard weeds for 20 years, I just cut it. My brother next door has a yard like carpet but when the dry summers come, his dies and my weeds florish and stay green, I just want to keep them down to about 3 to 4 inches high and consistent height.:) I need speed, comfort, mountain goat footing, decent cutting and durability which equals a Kubota diesel F3080 72" rear discharge mowing deck.:)
I'm a bit anxiuos to get it and try it on my steeper areas. Also the deck sticking out in front of me instead of under me should offer some benefits to reach areas that I can't actually drive on and under.
The BX1500 is the most stable tractor for hillside mowing that I have owned. So, unless you move, it's a keeper for you. Maybe add a bit bigger brother like a BX2660 but keep the BX1500.
I've been wondering where LBrown has been, haven't seen anything from him in awhile so this BX1500 remark should bring him back out of the woodwork.:)

PS The reason I first bought a Diesel Kubota BX2200 was to have a life time mower with 4wd for mowing my hillside undeveloped property or large residential building lot. Added a FEL to be a high priced wheel barrow. The little sucker was a tractor which didn't mean much to me to start with, I just wanted a mower. After discovering what the baby beast would do, I had to get bigger to do more but actually ground clearance was the reason I moved up to a B7800 and it went on from there. So, now that the land has been mostly tamed after 6 years I'm back to mainly needing a mower. F3080 4wd 72" rear discharge deck.

JT, time to take your mind off awaiting delivery!:laughing:
BX25 ready for Service? Mine passed 90 hours yesterday! :D
Where do I find your Service step-bystep pics for 100 hour service?
Any new BX25 news? New projects?

I've got about 25 hours on my BX25 so I do need to lube it. Don't think there is any 100 hour service and if there is I only had one tractor, a B7800, that ever got to that point.:)
I did level off a slight hillside a couple of days ago with BX25 so I can park my trailer around on the backside of my hill away from prying eyes and sticky fingers. Need to move some retaining wall stones and level out a swimming pool site today so will gain a few more hours of seat time.
You keep working yours and keep me informed of problems, issues and fixes at certain hourly points.:D
