Lost Keys

I lost the keys to my Tractor King 200 that I purchased at Rural King a few years back. Rural King was no help on where to start to get replacements or a new switch. Any suggestions?

Call the small engine repair shops in your area ...I'll bet one or more of them will have a spare key you can borrow to have a copy made.

Rural King was no help

No surprise there. But the switch would likely have failed on you eventually anyway. They're junk. I suggest going to a farm store and buying one of the inexpensive Ford type cold start switches in a blister pack. Last I looked, they were about $13 with keys.

I have been using a random two faced key I found in the "key box" I keep on the shelf for two years. Wiggled it in the ignition and it has worked ever since. I am guessing the tolerances on the igntion lock is not too tight! :laughing: My snow blower uses a screw driver I keep handy for carb adjustments.
My 4 year old daughter thinks keys are fun to play with....
