Thanks guys for the reply, A/C is not required bcoz I don't have enough seat time, but heater during winter while clearing the snow. Acutally in summer I like tractor without cab. But still why these things should cost like 4k or 5k. Has anyone developed a custom cab and any plans around.

And honestly my kubota looks so good with the new shape but cab takes aways all the coolness in the look. only if they made cab tops and body little more curvy to match kubota, definitely takes away the cool looks of Kubota. My opinion.

...definitely takes away the cool looks of Kubota.
Clothes tend to diminish some of the more pleasant parts of my wife, but that doesn't mean she can get through the winter without them...certainly while pitching snow. As much as I wish it could be so...

Generally curves, especially compound ones to augment the spectacular good looks of the Kubota BX line (written with no bias whatsoever), would require not only an tremendous amount of formwork, but also structure and thickness to maintain integrity. All that adds up to WEIGHT, which ultimately diminishes the residual capacity of the unit itself.

As such, most solutions are rather unbecoming flat panel or flexible arrangements.

I would agree that it would be splendid to have a suitable cab solution for something in the $1k to $1.5k range. That would seem like ample money to simply stay warm, but it doesn't seem to be so. Guess I'll have to put the glovewarmers under each cheek for another year...only costs a few bucks...

Well this is the most popular Tractor forum and all the big boys who sell stuff are watching. If everyone wants a cab for 1k to 1.5k someone will come up with actual cost and still do a decent job of providing shade and warmth during winter

Mass production please now a days you could buy a whole car under 9k new ones why just subcompact tractor cab should cost 5k :confused2:

My only recommendation is to save your money on a radio.
I bought a factory mount from Kubota and installed a stereo in my B3030 with factory cab. It might be OK if the tractor is turned off and you're working alongside it and want music, but the hydro whine drowns out anything if you're actually using the tractor.
