1815 vs 1816

What is the difference between the 1815 and 1816?
The dealer wants $1K more for the 1816.

No difference other than the 1816 meets higher EPA polution standards. The 1815 would be a new old stock tractor, probably a 2008 model. Other than that, there is no difference.

So when it comes down to it, ten years from now, they'll both work the same, I will just be killing nature a little more? ;-) someone is going to yell at me soon.

And a black frame and loader bucket on the 16 series! By the way Dave, the grey paint on some of the 15 series frames is a little thin in spots on some of the ones Ive seen including mine. I dont loose any sleep over it but I was just curious if the new black frame color scheme is any better?

Seems the black is a little better, but then again, it takes a little time to know for sure.
