B3030 Discontinued??? True?

Read a post today that where someone mentioned B3030s are discontinued. Anybody else know or hear anything about it?

I can't say it would be surprising for them to drop some models as they come out with new ones, but as of right now, they still show both the B3030 and the B7800 on their website.

It has been 5 years since its introduction and kubota has been on a 5 year series upgrade schedule. I think they will introduce a new B series factory cab machine before they pull the plug on the 3030?

My dealer said that they discontinued it this year because it was much more expensive than the B3200 which is the same tractor without "all the bells and whistles" so it wasn't selling well. He said there was no replacement, just stopped making it because of demand.

Not sure B3200 would replace it - it is not available in some of the markets that the B3030 is sold in - and they would not want to leave a niche in the market open.

The B3200 (and 7x00 and the bigger -20 series for that matter) are also not sold here in UK (or AFAIK the rest of Europe). We get the groundcare orientated STV series instead - and I do not think the STV32 is the same as the B3200 - it shares the upmarket features of the B3030 like the position control system as opposed to quarter inching valve on B3200.

Kubota is a global brand and I guess when they do replace it, it will be with someting we all see. However, JD have almost caught up the 30 series with their 20 series, so something may arrive soon,

The B3030 is not being discountined. I don't know what would give someone that crazy idea.

B3200 IS NOT being replaced by the B3300SU. The SU is a loader packaged special utility verion thats in addition to the current lineup.

I was hoping the ridiculous rumors of the B3030 being discontinued & replaced by the B3200 were true. That would have substantially increased the value of all remaining B3030s.

Not that I plan on selling mine anytime soon.

Im sure they will both (3030 & 3200) use identical cabs, all grand L's share the same factory cab.
