you could go to ebay and get one of the ready made hitches. Or you could make one like I did.

I don't have a picture but I made a 3pt tree grubber to remove Eastern Red Cedar trees in my timber. While I was at it I put a 2" receiver tube in the middle of it. When it's not doing grubber duty I pin in a receiver with a 2" ball. Works awesome to move trailers around.

You can also buy a drawbar for your 3pt and a pair of drawbar brackets to keep it from rolling and put a ball in it.

I moved both 16ft landscape trailer no problems in slippery areas and my 22ft camper with a small BX. The camper was a bit heavy, lifted no problems on 3 pt hitch, but tries to do a wheelie without the FEL on it. :D

Get a "Handy Hitch" off ebay. Redland Hill Farms. I have one on my B7800 and they work great. Around $100.

Cheapest way to do it is to get the short (20') cat 1 bar as in Radioman's picture and bolt on a reciever made for a truck bumper ($40 or less).
Buy the little device that keeps the bar from rotating and you are done.
Other wise do what Radioman did or have someone make on like it for you.
The "factory made" version will cost you a couple hundred bucks.

I though a B7800 came with a draw bar?
I put a 2" ball in my stock draw bar, 500# draw bar weight and 3000# trailer weight. Thats on a B2710 basicaly the same tractor.

this would be a perpendicular bar for the item off of e-bay.

I think shine is talking about the stock drawbar that comes with any tractor I have ever seen. Nothing to do with the 3PTH. It is safe and simple. K.I.S.S. is best.

Shine is correct
This drawbar is stock on the B7800.
Drawbar is fully extended in these two pictures.
Please excuse the snowblower is still somewhat attached.
I disconnected one end of the the power take off drive shaft
for picture purposes.

I purchased a Tractor Draw Bar Stabilizer for Category 1 Tractor from Northern Tool. It was on special for $59.99 and a ATV Hitch from Harbor Freight for $15.99. I already had the draw bar and 2" ball. I like the fact that it pulls everything from the center. I looked at a Handi Hitch but did not like the off center ball and clevis. I had to take a side grinder and cut off part of the hook base to get it to slide all the way into the receiver. I have used it to move my 21' bass boat with no problem. I tighten the links to keep it from swaying. All I have to do is back up lift the hitch and take off. I pull all my trailers, ball and pin and use the hook and a strap to pull brush. All I have to do is rotate the hitch for everything. It just stays on the tractor.

Here's one I made.

MVC-826F.JPG

The "A" lifts out of the bar allowing the bar to be turned over - so I can have a ball or pin.

The "A" does limit turning angle a little, I should have, as originally planned, drilled two holes out further and made a wider "A". (thought I had enough angle)
