Beautiful!! I'm going to copy this post for next year and make it a tradition to brew some eggnogg and invite the neighbors over. My folks neighbor makes glug(sp?) and then invites everyone to enjoy.

I'll work on perfecting my own personalized recipe through the year!! Man, it's going to be a fun year!!

Made 2 batches, the one with 1/2 pint of Kalua and 1/2 pint of rum won with the crowd hands down over the Brandy mix. Light coffee flavor almost with a roasted nut tint to it.

It is a little thinner than the processed eggnog I am used to. The flavor is excellent. It definitely mellows after a couple of days.

Last year I made some nog with Amaretto in it. Gave it a nice flavor.

I was thinking of going with Kalua this year as well.

I also saw a recipe that used Dairy Queen soft-serve (something like 1/2 gallon) in it. That sounds like it should be tried as well!

can't go too far wrong with the basic ingredients.
