I am looking at getting a 3520 and I always liked the setup of the 12x12 transmission. I am still tossed between the hydro and 12x12 however. Do any of you have experience with any of these two. I want to do brush mowing and some loader work. Any advice would be great.

I have had gear drives, glide shifts, power shifts, quad shifts, full powershifts and 4-5 different hydrostats. For mowing and loader work, the HST just dominates IMHO. If you need max power to the wheels, then the gears are the way to go but few CUT users use our tractors for just tillage or drawbar use.

Good summary. The hydrostat is hard to beat for many CUT tasks. I have a 3720 and am extremely pleased with the ehydro. For more demanding ground engaging work I use and would recommend a gear tractor.
