JD Parts Question

Guys,

I'm looking for the electrical "clips" that hold the fuse in the fuse box.

The fuse box on my 2005 JD 3320 has several open circuits. I want to use one of them to power some add-on work lights, and I want to use a separate switch from the dashboard light switch. Problem is, only one half of the little clips are in the open fuse spot.

I've searched the JD online parts and have not been able to find the part I'm looking for.

Anyone have an idea??

You will probably never find them short of ordering a whole new fuse panel.

The best way to add a new circuit is to use a relay from the battery, triggered by something that is HOT only when the key on ON.

He means the little metal contacts that snap into the back of the fuse panel. The panels are usually for more than one model, so there are extra positions for fuses-but no contacts.

That is correct.

I pulled the fuse panel out to see what I have to work with. There is one pretty good sized red wire (10 or 12 gauge) that is "hot" all the time, which is what I would prefer to use.

Unfortunately, the tractor is up North (300 miles away) and I'm not going to be back there for a couple of weeks, so I can't take/ post any pics.

I was hoping to be able to find the clip so I could just use a standard size fuse and make it look like a "factory option"...

Maybe I could find a used fuse panel from a boneyard?

You will probably never find them short of ordering a whole new fuse panel.

Kenny is probably right....you wont find it in the parts listings, BUT! Most dealers have a "electrical terminal repair kit" so they can fix fuse panels, etc....
If you could/would take one out I bet a trip to NAPA or something similar would get your what you need in short order...they arent "Special JD" connectors...Or even better yet, I bet you can find the terminals you need online lickity split...
For example, on the switches and plugs, Deere uses the "Packard Type" terminals...there was a post about this i want to say on a thread about rewiring the headlight switch so it works differently. Again...you wont find that terminal itself on JDParts, but it is in the Dealer repair kit...

When I say Dealer repair kit...Its not "dealer only" anybody can buy one if your pockets are deep enough....OR if you could figure out what you need, just order the terminal package you need...
