I have a Snapper ZTR that has developed a fluid leak that is running along the farme. I'm trying to figure out the source and can't see anyting from the top or from looking underneath the engine. I need to get the mower up off the ground enough so I can see what is going on. What is a safe method, both for me and the mower?

I don't have car ramps, but do have a tractor with an FEL. I do have jack stands. Suggestions?

How much does the mower weigh? If I could lift it with my loader I would and then put it on a pair of saw horses or concrete cinder blocks. Can you just prop it up on it's backside?

I lift mine w/ a chain and the hooks on the FEL. I leave the back wheels on the ground, place blocks behind the tires to avoid it rolling back and lift the fron end of the mower up to get underneath.

1*lift the front end of the mower up to get underneath.
1*What keeps it from falling on you when you are under it?
